The story of La Pasticceria begins in Caravaggio in northern Italy, the town that not only bears the name of a famous painter, but also marks the origin of a very special family passion: the art of making nougat. Since 1924, the Quaranta family has dedicated itself to the sweet temptation - starting with Antonio Quaranta and his wife Alzira, who opened a small laboratory in the heart of the old town, where a valuable recipe book was gradually created. Some of these original recipes - such as the legendary recipe 101 for soft almond nougat - are still used almost unchanged today. From this deep tradition, an idea was born in 1925 that revolutionized the world of torrone: Nougat Passion. Inspired by the historic recipe and supported by genuine craftsmanship, they combine soft, airy nougat with new flavor components - fine pastry creams, fruity jams, crunchy cookie pieces and much more. The result is a completely new way of experiencing nougat: sensual, tempting, creative. But it is not just the recipes that follow a philosophy - the appearance of the products also bears the signature. The elegant, minimalist packaging emphasizes the sophistication of the contents and at the same time presents itself as modern and high-quality - in line with our vision of harmonizing indulgence and aesthetics. Today, the family business is run by the founder's grandsons, Fabio and Massimo Quaranta. In a new, ultra-modern production facility that combines traditional manufacturing processes with computer-aided precision, they preserve the values of the past and raise them to a new level of quality. The machines work according to the same principles as 100 years ago - only more intelligently controlled, more efficient and more hygienic. The result: a particularly soft, airy, intensely flavored nougat that clearly stands out from the competition. La Pasticceria focuses on what really counts: Only natural ingredients. No artificial flavors. No artificial colorings. No compromises. The products are gluten-free, free from palm oil, made exclusively with eggs from free-range hens and meet the highest requirements of the voluntary BRC and IFS certifications - not out of obligation, but out of conviction.
