Softly baked, unmistakable in size and design - GIANT Flapjacks have been an integral part of snack culture in Europe for over 30 years. What began as a simple idea in a small London apartment has now developed into an internationally successful family business. In 1992, the then 26-year-old London-based founder stood at the oven in his kitchen and created the world's first GIANT Flapjack. A soft, filling and delicious snack that quickly became a bestseller. Just a few years later, sales in London were booming, and in 1996 the opportunity arose to offer the popular flapjacks in Ireland, Spain and Belgium. The expansion continued in 2007 when new European markets were opened up, including Hungary and Croatia. Today, GIANT is an established family business that has built up a loyal fan base with more than 350 million bars sold. Over 1.4 million bars are freshly baked every month to delight hungry snack lovers across Europe. Alex, the son of founder Sam, has also been on board since 2024. With new ideas and a strong vision, he will continue to develop the brand and connect GIANT Flapjacks with consumers all over the world.
