Since 1925, the name Loacker has stood for incomparable wafer enjoyment made from high-quality, all-natural ingredients. What once began in a small bakery in South Tyrol is now an internationally acclaimed company that combines tradition and innovation in a unique way. The foundation stone for Loacker was laid by Alfons Loacker when he created his first “Bolzano wafers” almost 100 years ago - with the highest quality standards and selected ingredients. This passion for top quality was passed on to subsequent generations: In 1958, his son Armin Loacker joined the company and took over responsibility for product development. His sister Christine Loacker followed ten years later and headed up the administration and sales department. In the 1990s, the three grandsons - Ulrich, Andreas and Martin - followed in the footsteps of their ancestors. Each of them has shaped Loacker in their own way.
As Sales Manager, Ulrich steers the company to global market leadership in the wafer segment. Andreas verantwortet die Produktentwicklung, die Beschaffung bester Zutaten und nachhaltige Produktionsprozesse. As President of the Board of Directors of LFH GmbH, Martin steers the strategic direction of the company. The third generation also passionately pursues the goal of using only the best ingredients and always guaranteeing the highest recipe standards. Loacker knows how to combine tradition with the needs of modern consumers. People want to do something good for themselves, to feel good mentally and physically - and Loacker is constantly developing its products to do just that. In 2020, for example, all recipes were revised and the sugar content reduced by 4% to meet current nutritional requirements.
