LA DOLCE VITA
The Italian company Messori Cioccolato is a small company founded in 1929 by Mario Messori and now in its third generation of ownership. Messori is based in the rural municipality of Vignola in Emilia-Romagna, not far from Modena and Bologna in northern Italy, a region that has been producing culinary delicacies for centuries. Since 1972, the family business with its twelve employees has been producing exclusively chocolate products. The production is subject to strict and regular quality controls, because the product quality is given a very high priority. The products are free of artificial additives, flavor enhancers, genetically modified ingredients and hydrogenated fats. Messori specializes in only a few products, in particular the filled small wafer croissants with the decorative toppings. These are very reminiscent of their "big relatives", ice cream cones in a cone.
